To make yourself an “expert”, or more “desirable,” they are series of tests to complete online in your field, as part of your profile demonstrating expertise. You bid on jobs with credits, the higher paying jobs are more credits. If you are short, you can purchase credits. There is no guarantee that you will get the job.

  • Flip Dog is a site for searching for freelance writing jobs. You can choose the ones you wish to apply for by doing a search and obtaining a list.

  • A group based in NYC, they do have other listings, and help across the U.S.A. Somewhat spotty with regard to local chapters, they do have good info, benefits, and it is free to join.
